Viktor Teplykh has practised martial arts since 1995. Since 2011 he has worked as a referee for the Estonian Karate Federation and Nordic KF.
He graduated from Tallinn Õismäe Russian Lyceum in 2007 and later earned a bachelor's degree from Tallinn University of Technology.
