SK BUDO & Karate
Karate at SK BUDO — over 40 years
SK BUDO Sports Club was founded in 1984 by Alexander Zykov, Yuri Lakhtikov and other martial arts enthusiasts. From the very first days, karate was the heart of the club.
Today SK BUDO is one of the most well-known and successful karate clubs in Estonia. Our athletes have won dozens of medals at Estonian championships, competed at European and World championships, and represented Estonia at international tournaments around the world. Alexander Zykov serves as head coach of the Estonian national karate team (WKF).
The club trains over 250 athletes from all age groups — from children aged 6 to adults. Our coaching team are experienced specialists with international qualifications and decades of experience in both traditional and competitive karate.
