Budo Cup — Baltic Grand Prix 2019

On 25 May 2019, TSH hosted the international WKF karate tournament Budo Cup — Baltic Grand Prix 2019. More than 300 athletes from 11 countries took part: England, Belarus, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Russia, Ukraine, Finland and Estonia.

The tournament's guests of honour were Estonian Olympic Committee President Urmas Sõõrumaa and Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart.

SK BUDO finished first in the club standings, winning 5 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals.

SK BUDO gold medallists:
Kirill Fomin, Oksana Bazeljuk, Marta Osipova, the FU16–U18 team and Pavel Artamonov.

SK BUDO silver medallists:
Melisa Arviste, the FU12 team, Anna Sokk, the MU16–U18 team, Makar Navitski and Mkgorian John.

SK BUDO bronze medallists:
Beata Lukenskaitė, Maia Nilsen, Saveli Bolotskihh, Oksana Bazeljuk, Marta Osipova, the MU12 team, Tiago Golub and Mkgorian John.

The medallists received medals, trophies and valuable prizes.

Special awards for “Universal WKF Karate Technique” went to Artjom Jermolajev in the youth MU16 −70 kg category (Latvia) and Anna Sokk in the adult category (SK BUDO, Estonia).

The winners and medallists of the 2018–2019 Estonian Karate League season were also recognised and awarded trophies.
