WKF European Youth Karate Championships 2022

The WKF European Youth Karate Championships took place in Prague from 17 to 19 June 2022. Estonia was represented by 12 athletes, including four from SK BUDO.

5 Saveliy Bolotskikh — cadets, −70 kg. He won three bouts and finished fifth.

7 Mihkel Mets — U21, −84 kg. He won a repechage bout against Spain and finished seventh.

9 Anna-Liisa Lett — juniors, +59 kg. She reached repechage and finished ninth.

Karin Masterov — cadets, +54 kg. She lost to an athlete from Türkiye 0:2.

Andrei Smirnov — cadets, −63 kg. His bout was stopped by the doctor.

The other Estonian team members were Venera Varlamova, Enoks Ott, Alesya Mazur, Mari Räpp, Hans-Marti Nellis, Ragnar Audse and Markus-Tan Ojala.

The national team coaches were Alexander Zykov, Georgi Nikolayev, Lauri Mengel and Markus Lillinurm.
