Karate1 Premier League — Matosinhos 2022

The Karate1 Premier League event in Matosinhos, Portugal, took place from 22 to 24 April 2022, bringing together the world’s top 32 athletes in each category.

Li Lirisman represented SK BUDO and Estonia. The competition used a new round-robin group system: every athlete faced all opponents in the group, and only the group winner advanced to the quarter-finals.

Li contested three bouts and finished second in her group. She defeated Italy’s Francesca Cavallaro 2:1, drew 1:1 with Bulgaria’s Ivana Kamenova and lost 0:1 to Spain’s Carlota Fernandez Osorio.

As only the group winner advanced to the quarter-finals, this concluded Li Lirisman’s campaign in Matosinhos.
