Karate1 Premier League — Rabat 2022

The Karate1 Premier League event in Rabat, Morocco, took place from 12 to 15 May 2022, featuring the world’s top 32 athletes in each category. Li Lirisman once again represented SK BUDO and Estonia.

Li won her group. She defeated Tunisia’s Chirine Zarrati 8:0 and Italy’s Lorena Busa 2:1. Her third bout against Spain’s Carlota Fernandez Osorio ended 1:1, with Li winning through first-point advantage.

In the quarter-final Li defeated Bulgaria’s Ivana Kamenova 1:0. She then faced world number one Anzhelika Terliuga of Ukraine in the semi-final and lost 1:2.

In the bronze-medal bout, Li was narrowly defeated 0:1 by Spain’s Sonia Pereira Villalobos.

Li Lirisman finished fifth at this elite-level tournament. Congratulations to our athlete on an excellent performance!
