Nordic Karate Championships 2023

On April 8, 2023, the annual Nordic Karate Championships took place in Gothenburg, Sweden. The tournament featured 281 athletes from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. Each country was allowed to have no more than two competitors per category.

The head coach of the Estonian team was Alexander Zykov, SK BUDO. The coaching staff also included Georgiy Nikolaev, Lauri Mengel, and Konstantin Ilyenko.
