Eduard Aleksandrov started karate in 1997. He is a multiple Estonian champion in kumite in both youth and adult categories since 2004.

He graduated from Tallinn Raniku Gymnasium in 2008 and Tallinn Lasnamäe Mechanical School in 2011. His highest position in the WKF world ranking was 44th in the -84 kg category (2014–2018).
